About the Company:
DeGould is looking for an outstanding Marketing Manager to join the Commercial team in
Exeter. The successful candidate will create and deliver the company’s marketing plan with the objective of building brand awareness and equity as the go to ‘technology provider’ within this sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for lead generation, website development, content creation as well as developing a range of sales collateral. The marketing manager will take full responsibility for the creation and execution of an annual marketing plan to be approved by the CCO. The right candidate will show creativity, innovation and agility.

The company develops and delivers innovative vision and damage detection systems to a range of blue-chip corporate clients. As the company embarks on an exciting growth phase the company plans to expand the team, further develop existing products, and explore opportunities for new ones.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate incoming and outgoing Prospects and Leads, as defined in the sales process.
- Plan and deliver the company’s marketing strategy in order to maximise impact against the agreed budget.
- Build brand awareness in the OEM and FVL sector to position DeGould as No. 1 globally.
- Ensure content and collateral is high quality up to date, factual, consistent and on brand.
- A weekly report tracking the agreed KPIs to the commercial team and Chief Commercial Officer.
- Lead all marketing initiatives in the company and take charge of all marketing related activity.
- Lead the development of the brand messaging and voice across all communication channels.
- Identify opportunities for marketing collaborations with customer, partners and suppliers.
- Develop excellent marketing assets and campaigns to increase enquiries and lead generation.
- Assist with preparing sales collateral and assets to ensure effective communication and lead conversion.
- Track all marketing activities against success criteria and measure impact and value.
- Measure the NPS on a quarterly basis.
- Measure the conversion rate across the sales process and impact of different strategies and use this data to maximise positive outcomes for the given resources.
- Using analytics, SEO, PPC and partner services ensure the company ranks highly on agreed key terms.
- Keep detailed records of customer marketing related activity in the form of CRM where possible.
- Manage all activities in accordance with ISO9001 and 140001.
- Manage all activities in accordance with procurement, expense and H&S policies.
- Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required to fulfil DeGould’s commitments to customers and achieve the overall objectives of the business.
Skills:
- Able to demonstrate an excellent understanding and track record in B2B marketing and communication.
- Excellent content creation skills, including preparing presentations, writing case studies, analysing performance, creating press releases and news articles.
- Solid knowledge of how to deliver and disseminate content across multiple channels.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Effective verbal, written and visual communicator in a clear, concise and diplomatic manner.
- Strong eye for design, including implementing branding guidelines and a consistent visual language.
