Technical Account Manager (US based)

To manage and support a growing number of US-based customer relationships for a UK based multi-award-winning tech and AI company in the automotive sector, implementing innovative vision and damage detection systems. Reporting to the Head of Technical, the person will act as the primary contact for a growing number of US OEM and B2B customers as the company scales up to meet new demand.

  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned US customers to build long term relationships
  • Support the technical aspects of the products
  • Develop SOW and SLA documents for all new customers
  • Project manage deliverables in line with contractual commitments
  • Coordinate activities within the company to ensure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
  • Communicate client needs and demands
  • Forecast and track client account metrics
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Keep detailed records of client transactions


  • Degree in Engineering or similar education
  • Knowledge of technical products, vision systems a distinct advantage
  • Good working knowledge of key business functions: supply chain, finance, engineering, etc.
  • Proven project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills


  • Account Manager role or equivalent position

  • Experience in automotive, either OEM or supplier
  • Equipment installation and commissioning
