In 2013 JLR were looking for some complementary image technology to support quality inspection, we found it didn’t exist in a form to support the volume throughput required. We approached Degould to partner with us in the development of an OEM solution building on their Car Rental prototype. Since the first booth installation in Solihull, we have continued to roll the systems out and moved forward together enhancing the proposition over time and sharing with the wider industry.
