DeGould Auto-scan offers market-leading ultra high resolution images using a full camera system in an optimised controlled lighting environment. OEMs can review real-time images with AI or using the DeGould dashboard and accurately assess vehicle condition with documented evidence prior to post-production handover. AI technology detects scratches, dents and wheel scuffs removing the need for manual inspection. When damage is identified vehicles can remain at plant for repair reducing more costly repair charges further in the logistics chain. Furthermore, AI inspection algorithms can check against build data and provide the confidence that vehicles have been built to the correct specification.
Not only does Auto-scan deliver market-leading, proven technology, it is also fast. The drive through booth uses rapid rise entry and exit doors with a total process time (TAKT time) of under 6 seconds per vehicle. A specially designed lighting rig ensures high quality images, every time and a consistent output regardless of the booth’s worldwide location. Everything is done to speed up the process. For our partners, speed and efficiency represent significant cost savings.
DeGould’s Auto-scan technology is also used in factory line systems without the rapid-rise doors. Ultra high resolution images are taken as the vehicle passes through on the production line.
The DeGould Auto-compact system is an image capturing alternative to the Auto-scan with a smaller footprint ideal for inline locations where space is a premium. Ultra high resolution images are captured using 9 cameras together with 5 analysis cameras to detect damage. The Auto-compact uses a combination of structured, dark and bright field lighting to capture hundreds of images in seconds. The DeGould real time AI assessment identifies damages from small dents and fine scratches to wheel scuffs and spec checks with images held in the cloud for simple access and storage.
