Location: Exeter office.
Role Overview:
DeGould is a seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to manage and oversee multiple ongoing projects, with a particular focus on the continuous improvement, performance monitoring, and upgrading of legacy systems. This office-based role requires a strong communicator with a passion for learning and understanding systems in depth and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure seamless operations.
DeGould is an exciting, multi-award-winning company, in the software and AI sector. The company develops and delivers innovative vision and damage detection systems to a range of blue-chip corporate clients (including Toyota, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes Benz, Nissan, Honda and Bentley). As the company embarks on an exciting growth phase the company plans to expand the team, further develop existing products, and explore opportunities for new ones.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight:
- Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent projects through to completion.
- Ensure project milestones are met, and progress is clearly documented and communicated.
- Track timelines, deliverables, and risks; escalating issues as necessary.
- Legacy System Management:
- Proactively monitor and manage legacy systems for performance, stability, and improvement opportunities.
- Identify upgrade requirements and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to implement solutions.
- Liaise with technical teams to ensure system integrity and up-to-date documentation.
- Helpdesk & Ticketing (Jira):
- Collaborate closely with the Service & Maintenance Manager to ensure the Jira board is actively managed and daily.
- Track and report on support trends and suggest systemic improvements.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams including Tech teams, operations, Engineering and product development to understand the product in depth.
- Help foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across departments.
- Collaborate internally with Technology teams to evaluate feasibility of delivering against requirements.
- Create bespoke implementation plans based on agreed services and client objectives.
- Communicate with Sales and Project Management functions to create accurate delivery schedules.
- Maintain positive and engaging relationships with a wide range of customers and stakeholders.
- Communicate plans, risks and progress with customers.
- Collect customer insights to feed into the longer-term product roadmap.
- Continuously improve current processes and ways of working.
- Support accreditation and quality management policies to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required to fulfil DeGould’s objectives.
Skills:
- A proven track record of delivering projects in complex operating environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience Project Management techniques and software (MS Project/ Jira / Monday.com etc).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work across multiple projects.
- Advanced organisational skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Inquisitive and eager to learn—keen to understand product workflows and technical systems thoroughly.
