As we draw 2019 to a close, it’s been another fantastic year at DeGould. We have installed even more new Auto-scan systems in new countries for new customers, and our existing customers have put more faith in DeGould and extended their contracts whilst further rolling our market-leading solution into their global operations.

The Auto-scan has again gone through rapid development and improved in our core areas of intelligence, connectivity, speed and durability. Artificial Intelligence has been the cornerstone of our development and led to huge advances in system capability, including the ability to assess vehicle damage automatically in real-time and give our customers alerts on defects and non-conformities, both along the factory line and at supply chain handovers. Product development also saw the launch of the DeGould Auto-flow system which has been successfully deployed within airport valet parking to great success. Furthermore, we have also launched products in different parts of the vehicle eco-system, including within used vehicles for automatic appraisal and instant retail-ready imaging.

We have had some excellent new staff join the DeGould team and secured more patents protecting the IP of our industry-leading imaging and inspection technologies. We have secured multi-million-pound global investment from key figures within the automotive industry, which has also seen incredible expertise joining our board of directors.

We have won 4 national awards recognising the growth, innovation and performance of DeGould in 2019, as well as being shortlisted and highly commended in a further 3 global awards in the automotive industry. We were also successfully awarded an Innovate UK grant to assist further with our research and development into the latest cutting edge technology and continue to innovate and pioneer new ways to help our customers drive efficiency and quality through automation and AI.
